WHO WE ARE

Networking On Tap is shaking up the traditional networking scene—no stiff suits, no awkward icebreakers, and definitely no fluorescent-lit conference rooms.

Our Approach

We believe that the best connections happen when people are relaxed, inspired, and having a genuinely good time.

That’s why we’ve brewed up a new kind of local networking experience, blending live music, craft beer, and great food with a laid-back vibe that feels more like a backyard hangout than a business mixer. Whether you're a freelancer, founder, creative, or just someone looking to grow your circle, our events are designed to get you out from behind your screen and into real conversations with real people.

We’re not here to sell you a pitch, we’re here to pour you a pint and help you build meaningful relationships in a space that’s social, spontaneous, and refreshingly authentic.

Joe Niehoff

Joe Niehoff

Joe Niehoff

When creating a bio for Networking On Tap, Joe Niehoff asked himself a simple question: How did we get here? For him, the story begins with a life‑changing decision to move to Atlanta in 2007 to continue his baseball career. What started as a sports pursuit evolved into a journey shaped by relationships — relationships that have taken his personal and professional life to places he never expected.

As Joe often says, “Man plans and God laughs.” That phrase alone encapsulates the last two decades of his life.

Joe is a proud father of four daughters — Chloe, Charleigh, and twins Penelope and Piper. He and his wife, Brittany, have been married for more than 13 years and enjoy life together in the Hickory Flat area of Canton.

Professionally, Joe has built his career around one core belief: great advisory businesses are built intentionally through strong teams, clear values, and a long‑term mindset. Through leadership roles at Capstone Financial, CliftonLarsonAllen, and now The Piedmont Group, Joe has focused on helping financial professionals build successful, sustainable practices — while continuing to serve his own clients.

Today, he works with advisors at every stage of their career, providing coaching, resources, and strategic guidance to help them scale thoughtfully, lead confidently, and deliver meaningful value. Whether someone is just starting out or refining an established practice, Joe’s mission remains the same: to help them build something that lasts.

Eric Suttle

Born and raised in Georgia, Eric Suttle has spent his entire life in Metro Atlanta, building a career rooted in relationships, trust, and authentic connection. His professional background spans consulting, professional services, distribution, and strategic account management — but the consistent thread has always been people.

Eric is known for his natural ability to bring individuals, businesses, and ideas together. He sees opportunity where others see silos, and he creates environments where genuine conversations turn into meaningful partnerships. That passion for connection ultimately led to co‑founding Networking On Tap.

Networking On Tap was built on a simple belief: networking should feel human. By removing the pressure and formality of traditional networking, Eric helps create a space centered on real conversations, authentic relationships, and true community. For him, it’s never been about business cards — it’s about long‑term relationships that support personal and professional growth.

Outside of work, Eric enjoys spending time with his family, attending local sporting events, and golfing at Eagle Watch, where he serves as President of EWLIV, a sub‑membership group within the club.
